About this role

Demo role — this is not an active vacancy. We are looking for a remote operations generalist who can help a founder manage priorities, coordinate projects, conduct research, and build lightweight operating systems for a growing distributed team.

What you'll do

Coordinate calendars, meetings, and follow-up actions across internal and external stakeholders
Track key projects, deadlines, and decisions, and ensure owners complete commitments
Conduct market, customer, competitor, and vendor research to support planning and execution
Prepare concise briefs, summaries, and decision documents for leadership review
Build and improve recurring workflows using tools such as Notion, Airtable, spreadsheets, and lightweight automations
Support ad hoc operational initiatives that help the company move faster with better clarity
Handle confidential company and customer information with sound judgment and discretion

Requirements

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
Excellent written communication and the ability to turn messy inputs into clear briefs and action items
Strong follow-through and a bias toward ownership, reliability, and execution
Comfort working remotely and coordinating across a distributed team
Good research skills, including the ability to synthesize findings into practical recommendations
Experience improving processes or building lightweight systems for recurring operational work
High discretion and trustworthiness when handling sensitive information
Proficiency with modern productivity tools such as Notion, Airtable, spreadsheets, and calendar systems

Nice to have

Experience working closely with a founder, executive, chief of staff, or operations lead
Familiarity with automation tools such as Zapier, Make, or AI-assisted workflows
Exposure to startup environments or fast-scaling distributed teams
Basic vendor management, customer research, or project coordination experience
